ABOUT US

Adiel Children’s Home

"Together, We Give Hope"

Who We Are

Adiel Children’s Home is a non-governmental, non-profit home established to care for orphans, abandoned, and vulnerable children.

We exist to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow with dignity, love, and purpose. At the heart of our work is the belief that every child deserves the chance to survive and thrive.

The Meaning Behind Adiel

The name Adiel means “God’s ornament.”
It reflects our belief that every child is precious, uniquely created, and worthy of care, attention, and opportunity.

Our commitment is to help each child entrusted to us shine — not just for today, but for the future.

Our Story

Adiel Children’s Home was established on God’s vision.
Like many meaningful callings, the journey has required patience, faith, and perseverance.

When a vision is given, it does not always unfold overnight. There are challenges, delays, and moments that test resolve. Yet through it all, this Home was founded on prayer, compassion, and a deep commitment to serving children in need.

We are on a rescue mission, with the hope that the children who pass through this Home will grow to positively impact their generation.

Our Vision

To raise orphans and vulnerable children to live dignified lives through the love of God and the care of family.

Our Mission

  • To provide shelter and opportunity for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children

  • To raise children as God’s ornaments who will positively impact their world

Faith & Values

Our work is guided by faith, stewardship, and responsibility.
We believe that with God’s guidance, our efforts will be meaningful and our labour fruitful.

Every child is cared for with love, structure, and respect, and every decision is made with the child’s best interest at heart.

Approval & Accountability

Adiel Children’s Home is officially approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, with approval granted on 4th November, 2019.
